I am a queer, Welsh performance artist and musician based in London. I employ art-making as an act of alchemy and situate myself as part of an eclectic tradition incorporating shamans, clowns, automata, cyborgs and drag artists.
I present my work in clubs, theatres, galleries and am interested in further exploring non-conventional contexts for my work. My solo performances combine text, appropriation of classical music, experimental electronic music and ritual action. I regularly perform and host cabaret in London and beyond.
Since September 2015 I have made work as Producer and Joint Artistic Director (with Laura Gwen Miles), of experimental performance collective, Queens of the Underworld.
I have shown work with: Chelsea Theatre, Glastonbury (Block9), Latitude, Bestival, CircusFest, DICE (RCSSD), Carnesky Productions, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, Resistance Gallery, The Black Cap, Roundhouse, Laban Centre, The Glory, VFD (Vogue Fabrics Dalston), Chronic Illness, CFS Soho, LimeWharf, UnderConstruction, TUC Congress House, Deep Trash (CUNTemporary), Festival of Choice, More Storm (THRUST / Middlesex University), Central Saint Martins.
Alongside my core practice, I am a classical singer, sound designer, producer, writer and workshop leader. I am a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (BMus Hons) where I was awarded the Contemporary Vocal Prize. My work has been supported by Roundhouse through their Resident Artist Scheme and through an ongoing working relationship with Showwoman Marisa Carnesky and Carnesky Productions.
